Our theme this month is Love.
Samhein (pronounced SAH-win) is a Pagan celebration of the end of the summer and beginning of the “darker half” of the year. It is a time when it is believed that the viel between our world and that of the dead is particularily thin. Join Rev. Otto and the Covenant of UU Pagans for a celebration of this important day.
As part of our worship we will celebrate, and invite, the memory of our ancestors and deceased loved ones by placing mementos on an alter. Please bring a photograph or other small memento to place on our Samhain alter. Pen and paper will also be provided for anyone who would prefer to write the names of remembered loved ones.
Religious Education (RE) classes are on. Childcare will be available in the Treehouse from 10:15-1:30, and all ages are always welcome there during events before or after the service. Children ages 4 and older are invited to come first to the worship service before RE begins. OWL classes will run for registered families as scheduled.
No choir/band rehearsal today.
This month, we are sharing our offering plate with Side with Love.
