Taizé Prayer Service: May 3

Taizé Prayer Service: May 3

Taizé prayer services combine silence and song, candlelight and stillness, prayer and contemplation. Taizé chants are simple refrains repeated, mantra-like, by the whole congregation, while instrumental and vocal soloists may occasionally add verses on top of the repeated refrains. The accessible music invites participation. Repeating the refrains invites slowing down and entering a contemplative state. The result is to gradually move prayer from the head to the heart. Please join us for this hour-long contemplative service. We invite you to participate in singing simple songs or listen. No preparation needed. May 3 at 7pm.
