Tarot? At church? You bet! Tarot is often associated with the occult and fortune telling, but what started out as playing cards for games has become something so recognizable in our culture, with influences from Christian and Jewish tradition. Can tarot be a tool for self-analysis and self-awareness without the “supernatural” component? Are there ways to connect spiritually with it even if you’re skeptical of “new age” spirituality? Join us as we explore, from a very UU perspective, what there is to be gained from the tarot deck and decks like it.

Choir, children’s choir (at 9:45 and open to all), and religious education (for elementary aged children during the service and superhero themed) will be happening this week. Childcare is also available for children up to age 6. All children are always welcome in the service as well.
