People of all faiths and no faith are welcome to attend a special service with Malden Reads and First Parish in Malden, offered hybrid – both online and in-person. The service will explore the themes of this year’s Malden Reads book selection, “An American Sunrise” a collection of poetry by Joy Harjo, The service will include poetry, readings, a children’s message, music and a sermon that draws from the book’s themes. The service will be accessible to all; those who have read the book and those who haven’t. Participants that come in-person have the option to stay for the book discussion at noon. The book discussion is offered in-person only. The registration link below is for the online option for the service. No need to register in advance to attend the service in-person.
