Our theme this month is Equity.

Elon Musk said “The fundmental weakness of Wester Civilization is Empathy.” Fundamentalist Christian Allie Beth Stuckey wrote a book about “toxic empathy.” We don’t believe empathy is bad; in fact it might be our greatest gift. Let’s explore how empathy can be a form of resistance. We will also do a “teen” dedication of Erikson Kutter this morning.

Religious Education (RE) classes are happening this week. Children are invited to come first to the worship service before RE begins after the Time for All Ages. Childcare will be available from 10:15-1:15 in the Treehouse for our youngest community members, and all ages are always welcome there during events before or after the service.

Band will rehearse after service from 12-1pm to prepare for next week’s service.
