Taken as a whole, the world is a big place with complex problems that are beyond the ability of any one person to solve. However, nobody experiences the world “as a whole”. When organizing our lives toward social benefit, it behooves us to think less on the scale of world-wide problems and more on what we can do in our local communities, where we can have far more impact. Service lead by Trevor, a UU Medford member and a 31 year old former Lutheran from North Carolina who lives in Somerville with his wife Alex and two cats. They joined the UU church in 2023.
